Preparing for Fit Reset | 30 Day Fitness and Self-Care Journey

We are less than a month away from the launch of my 30 day fitness and wellness program, Fit Reset! I wanted to send you this email now to make sure you have ample time to get all the equipment you’ll need (don’t worry it’s not that much!) and answer any questions you may have.

Q: Let’s begin with the most obvious, what is the Fit Reset program?

A: A 30 day program that is both a transformation for the mind as well as the body. We utilize physical movement and challenging workouts to feel strong and accomplished. The workouts range from 10-60 minutes and include strength training, yoga, cardio, barre, HIIT, and more. There are active recovery days built into the program such as chill yoga and foam rolling sessions to provide both physical and mental relief and relaxation while still staying committed to logging on each day.

Q: Can anyone do this program?

A: YES! This program is suitable for those of all fitness levels and capabilities. Modifications are shown for every exercise during each workout to make it accessible for everyone.

Q: Where will I be able to find Fit Reset? A: All videos will be posted on youtube everyday at 4am EST and you are free to complete them whenever you have time throughout the day. A few days before the challenge begins you’ll receive an email with a calendar that has the length and name of each day’s workout so you know how much time to set aside each day.

Q: What equipment do I need?

A: At the bare minimum you will need some weights. I recommend a light set (1-3lbs), a medium set of weights (4-8lbs), and a heavy set of weights (8lbs+) but you can also get creative and use soup cans or water bottles in place of light weights and water gallons in place of medium/heavy weights if you don’t want to purchase them. In addition, I recommend a resistance band in the workouts I use a cloth resistance band for lower body and rubber resistance band for upper body but you can purchase one or the other or neither and do banded sections bodyweight. I also highly recommend purchasing a foam roller as we will learn how to use it to aid in recovery from your workouts, but if you don’t have one there will be alternate videos for you to participate in that don’t involve the foam roller (but, trust me it’s a wise investment!) You can find some of the types of equipment I recommend on my amazon list here.

I want to highlight the fact that Fit Reset is an inclusive program for ALL so don't feel overwhelmed by the list of equipment and feel like you "need" to purchase everything I listed to be able to participate. As stated previously, there will be modifications to make this accessible for everybody despite whether you have everything or nothing in the list.

So, mark your calendars because Fit Reset launches on my youtube channel 1/1/21! See you there!
